Introduction

The current release of YooParse is 0.1. It is an alpha release, so there will be bugs and lacking some features.

YooParse was created to ease the task of writing C++ Object-Oriented parsers. It has the following features:

• Generates re-entrant C++/STL compatible parser classes.
• Generate LALR(1) or full LR(1) tables.
• Provides yacc/bison like error recovery
• Customizable error recovery function through virtual function.

YooParse was designed to work with YooLex, a C++ lexer generator.

Currently I don't have time yet to write a detailed web page, and it will not be coming anytime soon. There is one very simple example provided in the .gz file to give you an idea how to build a parser.
